The CrossRoads launched on Resurrection Sunday 2001, in a small oil field warehouse in Belle Chasse. Our purpose was and still is to share the love of God, new life in Jesus Christ, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in a godly, family atmosphere. 

 

Pastor Chris, a native of Massachusetts and raised in Sturbridge, graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School, then earned a Bachelor's in Economics from Worcester State College. God called Chris into the Ministry in 1992. Chris was a Bivocational Pastor for two churches in MA from 1999-2007, then moved his growing family to Siler City, North Carolina, where he became the Pastor of Grace Community Church from 2007-2008; then, Brookdale Baptist Church from 2008-2013. While living in NC, Chris received his Masters of Divinity degree from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1999.  After moving to Louisiana and visiting the Crossroads he felt the strong Love of God, leading him to apply and go through the pastor search process. We are very blessed that God lead him to us..
